3 more Dakotas teams bounced from NAIA tourney
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The four teams from the Dakotas that qualified for the NAIA Division II basketball tournaments all are on their way home.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The four teams from the Dakotas that qualified for the NAIA Division II basketball tournaments all are on their way home.
The Jamestown College women lost to two-time defending champion Northwestern of Iowa 80-68 in the second round on Friday.
The Jimmies women were the only Dakotas squad to make it past the first round. The Jamestown College men were upset by Saint Francis 64-63 on Thursday, and the Valley City State women lost to College of the Ozarks 57-51. The Dakota State men lost in the first round on Wednesday.
