Husband confesses in Fargo homicide

Charges filed in Cass County district court today show her husband, 49 year-old Henry Deniger Sr. confessed to killing her. There are new details tonight about the murder of a South Fargo woman. Charges filed in Cass County district court today show her husband, 49 year-old Henry Deniger Sr. confessed to killing her. The confession came in an affidavit from a Fargo detective.
Police arrested Deniger in St. Cloud Wednesday night for the murder of 52 year-old Kathye Deniger He faces life in prison if convicted. Deniger is also charged with one count of tampering with evidence. He's accused of washing off a knife at the crime scene.
From the time a body was found on Tuesday night at this South Fargo Apartment, to a murder suspect being arrested in St. Cloud was less than 24 hours. Forensic and intelligence specialists tracked everything from cell-phone use, to Facebook posts, to Credit Card Transactions.
Lt. Joel Vettel – Fargo Police: “Ok he got pinged here as far as his card, he got pinged here and all of a sudden two pings close to each other, and you recognize he might be held up in that area.”
Deniger was found at McDonalds in St. Cloud shortly after 4 Wednesday afternoon.
