Fargo-Moorhead existing home sales jump

Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - The housing market appears to be booming in Fargo-Moorhead. According to the FM Area Association of Realtors, existing home sales jumped nearly 32-percent in January and February this year compared to last.
The average selling price of an existing home, not including new houses, is just over $170-thousand dollars, up 6.3 percent. New home construction in the metro is up 10-percent.
Realtors credit low interest rates and mild weather for the bump in numbers.
