City of Moorhead in the final stages of redistricting

The City of Moorhead is in the final stages of its redistricting concepts. A special committee of the whole meeting allowed Mayor Voxland and the City Council to discuss the initial ward redistricting maps.

Here the city clerk and manager presented 3 concepts that have more information and more data than any other redistricting map in the past.

The submitted maps are in the proposal phase.

Michael Redlinger – City Manager: “We need your direction to get that to a finer detail, that will result in a proposal, that then comes back to a later action so if you can kind of think that way conceptually that will put us on a path to a plan that puts on a path to adoption.”

No official action was taken at this meeting.
