Mattern delivers West Fargo State of the City address

In his yearly state of the city address, West Fargo Mayor Rich Mattern says 2011 was an excellent year for the city. Mattern and city commissioners gave the address at this evenings Commission meeting.
One of the biggest events of 2011 was the approval of the 82-point-5 million dollar bond referendum for new schools. There was also a 49% increase in building permits over 2011. The West Fargo Mayor says the city continues to stand by its motto.
Rich Mattern – West Fargo Mayor: “Quite frankly there weren't a lot of lots available and last year alone in 8 subdivisions we brought in 350 lots so that's a good number to start with.”
West Fargo is now the fifth largest city in North Dakota.
