Basketball tournament directors happy with turnout

Grand Forks, ND (WDAZ Sports) - A Great turnout this weekend for the state basketball tournament in Grand Forks. Directors for the North Dakota Class B Boys Basketball Tournament didn't know what to expect, but are happy with turnout.
The 3 day tourney was in Grand Forks for the first time since 1971. It drew 26,000 fans, with a crowd of about 6,000 for Saturday's championship game.
TODD OLSON - Tournament Director: “The tournament went very well, we were very happy with how our community embraced the Class B fans and I thought things went very well from our perspective.”
