(WDAY TV) - Attorneys representing the family involved in that summer long standoff near Lakota may challenge the use of a drone to aid in the arrest.
The drone helped authorities in capturing Rodney Brossart, his wife, their 3 sons and daughter. The family was wanted for keeping a neighbors 6-cattle that wandered on to its property.
Attorneys already won a battle this week, when a judge threw out a felony bail-jumping charge. It reduced Brossart's bail by 100-thousand dollars. The family has been free since November when they posted cash bond of about 255-thousand dollars.
