4 teams still vie for ND Class B boys hoops title
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Defending state champion North Star is still in the running for a repeat at the North Dakota Class B boys basketball tournament in Grand Forks.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Defending state champion North Star is still in the running for a repeat at the North Dakota Class B boys basketball tournament in Grand Forks.
The Cando school downed Grafton 63-58 in the first round, in a rematch of last year's title game. The team takes on Bismarck Shiloh Christian in the semifinals. Shiloh Christian beat Divide County 58-48 on Thursday.
Friday's other semifinal matchup pits Berthold against Beulah. Berthold beat Linton-HMB 68-58 in the opening round, and Beulah defeated Central Cass 65-48.
