Lawsuit over Hillsboro street repair bill settled
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A lawsuit against the city of Hillsboro and an engineering firm over payment of street repairs has been settled.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A lawsuit against the city of Hillsboro and an engineering firm over payment of street repairs has been settled.
Central Specialties Inc., a contractor from Alexandria, Minn., filed a civil complaint in 2010 against the city and the project engineer, Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services Inc. of Grand Forks.
The complaint claimed Central Specialties was owed more than $328,000 for seven separate projects that were completed in 2007, as well as interest on a bill the city was late in paying.
Details of the agreement were not available.
