This week's athlete of the week is Moorhead goalie Michael Bitzer, who's putting together a senior season to remember. The Spuds netminder has compiled a 20-6 record, including a shutout of rival Roseau in the section semis.
He's a finalist for goalie of the year in Minnesota and according to him, got better after a slow start. The Spuds face Brainerd tomorrow night in the 8-AA section final in Bemidi. We'll be there with complete coverage.
