Fargo School Board takes full responsibility for Bluestem Center

The Bluestem non-profit group owes the district nearly $5 million for money issued to build the $15 million facility.
The Fargo School Board agreed for Fargo Public Schools to take full responsibility of the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Bluestem Center for the Arts.
The Bluestem non-profit group owes the district nearly $5 million for money issued to build the $15 million facility. The group defaulted on a $286,000 bond payment in December, prompting the need for change.
The agreement also calls for the creation of an advisory council.
