City of Fargo issues reminder of winter parking restrictions

Our sudden turn to snowy winter weather means plows are once again contending with parked cars. During the winter in Fargo you can't park on streets Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 1am to 7

There's no parking on Avenues Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday that same time. These rules apply to areas outside of downtown. Plow crews did not have many problems with parked cars over the weekend.

Tony Fennell – Fargo Public Works: “They've been ticketing all year so I think people have gotten the hint to get it out of the way during the day time and night.”

Fargo Public works also wants to remind you to take extra care when driving near snow plows.
