AUSTIN, Minn. (AP) — At least two men are dead after a car crash on the south end of Austin.
Mower (MOH'-ur) County sheriff's Deputy Tom Mensink says the car left a street near a curve early Saturday, hit a fence, severed a telephone pole and snapped a tree.
Another male passenger was hurt but his condition was unknown Saturday.
Mensink tells the Austin Daily Herald (http://bit.ly/zOYkEj) authorities believe speed may have been a factor.
Police are not releasing the men's names until Monday.
