Oak Grove fourth graders hit the slopes for science experiment

Students hit the slopes with everything from boxes to suitcases to rugs and even bubble wrap. All the fun in the snow was part of an interactive science experiment.
Fourth grade students at Oak Grove School in Fargo are taking advantage of our recent snowfall. Students hit the slopes with everything from boxes to suitcases to rugs and even bubble wrap. All the fun in the snow was part of an interactive science experiment.
Caden Nestler – Oak Grove 4th Grader: “Testing what has low friction like this cooking sheet and that means that they will go far down the hill and it will go fast.”
The students determined that the rug and towel had the most friction of the items they tested.
