Wahpeton schools earn national accredation

A big accomplishment for Wahpeton schools. The school district has earned accreditation from the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation. A national team came to the Wahpeton schools and took a look at all programs and facilities. Improvements are suggested and required following this process. It will need to be completed within two years.

Rick Jacobson – Wahpeton Superintendent: “You hear too many times schools are not doing this or that hopefully with this process we have to do what we need to do and just talk the talk but walk it too.”

A special school committee will meet every month to work on the required changes.
