ND Senator meets with Fargo native detained in Egypt

Staci Haag is one of seven Americans barred from leaving the country.
(WDAY TV) - North Dakota Senator John Hoeven met with a Fargo native detained in Egypt for allegedly supporting unrest in the country. Staci Haag is one of seven Americans barred from leaving the country.
She's accused for using foreign funds to back protestors there. During a trip to the Middle East, Hoeven met with Haag at the U.S. Embassy.
The delegation, also including Arizona Senator John McCain, also met with Egyptian military and government leaders.
