Memory Bell is charged with felony negligent homicide and a misdemeanor driving offense in the July death of 23-year-old Tyler Holder. Authorities allege that Bell's driver's license was suspended at the time her vehicle struck Holder's vehicle on a county road and that her blood tested positive for prescription painkillers.

Bell initially had been charged with ingesting a controlled substance. The Bismarck Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/ApBfu7 ) that prosecutor Jessica Binder said the charge was dropped when Bell provided authorities with a prescription for hydrocodone and methadone.
