A Jamestown mother is on a state-wide campaign to get drivers to buckle up. JoAnn Olson's 16-year-old daughter Becca was killed in a car crash last summer.
Becca unbuckled her seatbelt just moments before she died. Now, Olson's teaming up with Becca's friends to educate students about seatbelts. Olson says it's a tough issue to tackle. Many people focus more on harmful activities.
JoAnn Olson – “Belt Me” Campaign: "Friends come to pick Becca up, I was peeking in coolers, looking in glove boxes for drugs and alcohol. Never once occurred to me about her seatbelt."
