There is a new problem plaguing the Jamestown Fire Department, days after a fire destroys a Main Street warehouse. The Fire Chief says crews are keeping close watch on Vining Oil and Gas, which went up in flames Friday. The walls of the destroyed building are bowing. It could collapse at any minute.

The Chief says they're holding off on an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, until insurance adjusters and a state investigator arrive. It’s a large scene to process since the building houses more than 600 tires, and several 55 gallon barrels of oil.

Jim Reuther – Jamestown Fire Chief: "We are looking at a major dollar amount loss, and that's why it takes a little longer to process the scene and get our heads together, and make sure it moves forward in the right direction.”

The Fire Department is working with the State Health Department, because of the amount of oil spilled.
