Casselton, ND (WDAY Sports) - The Region One Boys basketball tournament gets underway tomorrow afternoon at the Fargo Civic and for top-seed Central Cass, it brings back a sour taste.

Sure the Squirrels have pulled off perfection so far this season, and breezed through the district playoffs. But several of the current players haven't forgotten their loss to Wyndmere-Lidgerwood in the opening round of regions a year ago. And they say, it's fueled them.

MATT ZIMMERMAN - Central Cass Sr. Guard: “We lost out early last year. That was really bitter. But, we knew coming out this year that we had a good team and we wanted to come out strong.”

TROY ROESLER - Central Cass Head Coach: “We've shot pretty well. That was one of the things last year. We weren't a great outside shooting team. We've done a nice job concentrating on that. We're not as big as we used to be, so we had to change up our gameplan a little bit.”

The opening game tomorrow is at 3 o'clock between Milnor and Oak Grove.
