Trinity Lutheran got a grant for programs focusing on faith and science. Parishioners listened to a panel of conventional and organic farmers talking about faith, food, and biotechnology.

Members saw first hand what goes into making food during lunch. They learned about responsibilities of consumers and producers.

Dr. Per Anderson, Trinity Lutheran member, says, "There is a lot of popular interest in food today as a culture, in the ethical community the Christian ethics community, not a lot of attention to agriculture, I am glad that our church decided to take it on, because it is a very difficult topic."

Another discussion focused on evolution.
