A fugitive charged in connection with a deadly Red Lake Reservation shooting surrendered to FBI agents around 7:30 p.m. last night.

The FBI says 22-year-old Cruze Anthony White of Redby, MN, was arrested without incident on a highway located on the reservation after being a fugitive since he was charged November 17th.

White is charged with one count of murder in the second degree and two counts of assault with intent to commit murder. The charges stem from White's role in the shooting death of Julian Keith DeMarrias, 22, of Redby on November 3, 2010. Jerrick DeMarrias and Orland James Spears, both 19 and from Redby, were seriously wounded in the shooting.

White's alleged accomplice in the shooting, Donald Leigh Clark, Jr. was arrested on January 15th.

Investigators had been trying to locate White since he was charged. The FBI says an agent interview a member of White's family as recently as Friday night. The Red Lake Police Department then followed up on two tips concerning White's whereabouts on Monday afternoon, but didn't locate him.

White contacted a Deputy U.S. Marshal and arranged his surrender. He will have his initial appearance in Federal Court in Bemidji at 3:30 p.m. today.
