NDSU hosts a bracketbuster game for the first time
(WDAY TV) -- For the first time in school history, NDSU hosted a BracketBuster game. The opponent was Western Michigan out of the MAC ,led by 6-9 center Matt Stainbrook.

The Bison went right at him early. Marshall Bjorklund with the nice hook, he led NDSU with 21 points.
Visitors couldn't miss from downtown in the 1st half, Mike Douglas hit back to back treys, he had 21, Bison down 11, trailed by 6 at half.
NDSU goes on a 24-8 run to start the 2nd half...Lawrence Alexander goes coast to coast for the lay-in. He had 16, Bison up six.
They seal it a little later, Mike Felt off the curl. 3 more 3's for him.
