(WDAY TV) - North Dakota's Congressional Delegation met with top Air Force leaders on Capitol Hill today to make the case for North Dakota's air bases.
Lawmakers pressed the need to maintain a manned flying mission for the North Dakota Air National Guard. Senators Kent Conrad and John Hoeven along with Congressman Rick Berg say Grand Forks should be picked as a home for the KC-46 refueling tanker.
The leaders also say the unmanned aerial systems program must also continue to thrive.
