Bank of the West shifts 70 Fargo jobs to Omaha

Seventy people who work for Bank of the West in Fargo are having their jobs shift to Omaha, Nebraska.
Seventy people who work for Bank of the West in Fargo are having their jobs shift to Omaha, Nebraska.
The bank says it's moving its consumer finance operations to an existing Omaha Center in the 2nd quarter. The bank says it's just combining its operation. None of the 8 branches in the state, including three in Fargo, will close.
Employees, whose jobs are effected can move to Omaha, or the bank will help them find a new job, or will get a severance package.
280 people will still be employed in Fargo by Bank of the West.
