Moorhead, MN (WDAY-TV) -- Moorhead Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Stop ‘N Go on 30th Avenue South overnight.

Officers say shortly after midnight, a man with a gun went into the convenience store and demanded cash.

The clerk complied and the suspect got away with an undetermined amount of money.

Surveillance photos from 12:15 a.m. show what appears to be a thinner white male in his early 20’s enter the store, display a handgun, and leave with an undisclosed amount of cash. The male was wearing a grey colored sweatshirt with the word “North” clearly displayed on the front chest area. The store clerk was not injured in this incident. A K-9 team from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office attempted to track the suspect, however were unsuccessful.

Officers think the suspect may have taken off in a car.

Sergeant Clint Stephenson tells WDAY News that several squad cars were in the area at the time of the call and were able to lock down the area quickly.

The same gas station was targeted last February, when three men held up the clerk with a gun.
