Ben: "We have a district chair, a vice chair, a treasurer, and a secretary and they help run the organization of the democratic party in this district."
District members cast their votes for who should be up for the state senate seat and two house seats.
Ben: "We pick our nominees today, and then they go to a primary in June, which happens simultaneously with the city election."
