From unmanned aircraft to smartphones, technology is changing the agriculture industry. Farmers both young and old are learning how to adapt to the new technology at the Advanced Crop Advisers Workshop.
Educational sessions were based on topics like sulfur, crop scene investigation and management tools. Unmanned aircrafts were on display to show growers how imaging services can help their crops.
Jonathan Alme – Field of View: “Ultimately in the end, the goal is to increase the efficiency for the farmer and help out the environment, so it's all for a good cause.”
That event wraps up after five more workshops tomorrow.
