The race for North Dakota's lone US House seat focused on job growth. Democrat Pam Gulleson talked about revitalizing the economy.
She says the road to economic recovery runs through Main Street, mall businesses and in manufacturing. She says the key is to not only develop new jobs but start-ups that grow quickly, and to create an environment that fosters innovation.
Pam Gulleson – (D) Candidate for US Congress: “The model of small businesses and main street businesses - really should be the model for America. I mean we should get back into the business of growth in jobs- the kind of things that we do here in North Dakota communities across the state.”
It's a crowded race. Besides Gulleson Republicans Shane Goettle, Kim Koppelman, Brian Kalk, Kevin Cramer and Bette Grande are vying for one primary spot. Libertarian Eric Olson is also in the race.
