RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — A man whose family is in the process of moving from Billings, Mont., to Rapid City has claimed a lottery jackpot in South Dakota worth nearly $257,000.

Dave Yuhas said he is "thrilled and thankful" to pocket the winnings from Saturday's drawing in the Wild Card 2 game. He collected the $256,515 Tuesday in Rapid City.

"It will definitely make some changes in our lives," he said. "We can pay off some debts, finish relocating to the area. It's almost too good to be true."

Yuhas is a certified public accountant with a wife and three daughters. He said he usually buys a lottery ticket when the jackpot starts to rise.

The odds of winning the jackpot in the game that's played in the Dakotas, Montana and Idaho is one in about 360,000. The jackpot is now back to $100,000.
