Santorum wins Minnesota Republican Caucus

It's looking to be a great night for Rick Santorum. He's the projected winner in the Minnesota caucus. Minnesota is one of three states taking center stage tonight in the race for the GOP nominations.

Hundreds attended the local caucus at Moorhead High School this evening. They heard from supporters of candidates and then broke off into specific precincts. While in those groups they elected delegates to send to local conventions and conducted a straw poll.

Doug Fagerlie – Moorhead Resident: “It's a grass roots type thing and there were a lot of people upstairs. I'm really glad about that, it shows there's a lot of interest this year.”

Santorum is expected to win the only primary of the night in Missouri. He is currently leading the Colorado caucus as well.
