Authorities recover body of Wheaton man who drowned in Mud Lake
Wheaton, MN (WDAY TV) - Authorities have recovered the body of a Wheaton man who drowned after falling through thin ice in Traverse County.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY

The sheriff says 50 year-old Chuck Krauth was reported missing by family members about 10:30 last night. He was ice fishing on Mud Lake.
Authorities have recovered the body of a Wheaton man who drowned after falling through thin ice in Traverse County.
The sheriff says 50 year-old Chuck Krauth was reported missing by family members about 10:30 last night. He was ice fishing on Mud Lake.
A search party found Krauth's pick-up truck near the White Rock Dam. It lead them to his 4 wheeler and dog on the lake with a hole in the ice nearby. Krauth's body was recovered in about 7 feet of water about 2:30 this morning. Ice in that area was only about an inch thick.
