A retired soldier who was involved in Desert Storm recently passed away from brain cancer. He donated his uniform to the museum before he passed.
The Otter Tail County Historical Society hosted a military roundtable about Desert Storm. This group of retired military members and people in the community meet once a month to talk about different war topics. A retired soldier who was involved in Desert Storm recently passed away from brain cancer. He donated his uniform to the museum before he passed.
Melissa Hermes – Education Coordinator: “A way of honoring some of our veterans who served then, and that is why we got out the one uniform that we have in the historical society collection.”
People also brought in old newspaper clippings from that era.
