17-year-old killed in train accident in North Dakota
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A 17-year-old girl has been struck and killed by a train as she crossed the tracks near Logan in Ward County.
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A 17-year-old girl has been struck and killed by a train as she crossed the tracks near Logan in Ward County.
The Ward County Sheriff's Office says Elizabeth Marie Dehnke, of Logan, was crossing tracks near the County Road 16 crossing Friday afternoon when was struck by an eastbound train.
Officials say the accident occurred a short distance from Dehnke's home.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol, the Ward County Sheriff's Department and the Canadian Pacific Railroad Police are investigating the crash.
