48 teams in Grand Forks wrapped up a weekend long bonspiel tournament. This is the 12 year of the outdoor curling event. Players enjoyed temperatures in the 30's. But that proved to be a problem.
Bob Bina, the Southgate Bonspiel Organizer, says, "Usually we can put the ice in.. in a week and it's no problem. This year it took us two weeks and it melted twice on us. We kind of struggled all week with it."
Next week Forest River will hold it's annual Bonspiel Tourney.
