People in Grand Forks had a creative cure for cabin fever. The annual Cardboard Sled Race. 47 people raced down the sledding hill near Lincoln Drive Park. The free, public fun was part of Greenway Ski Days. Many competitors worked for days building and decorating their sleds, and were excited to show them off.

Chris Choate- Cardboard Sled Builder: “It's just a good thing to get out. It's so nice some people don't want to go out because it's so sloppy and messy... but when the weather's beautiful like this, it's great to see a good turnout like this.”

Awards were given for fastest sled, most creative, and best collision.
