Arctic Cat recalls 19,000 snowmobiles

The affected units are the F, XF and M models sold from May 2011 through December 2011.
Thief River Falls-based Arctic Cat is recalling 19,000 snowmobiles because of a steering control malfunction. The affected units are the F, XF and M models sold from May 2011 through December 2011.
The company says the lower steering tie-rod attachment can loosen and cause a loss of steering control. There have been no reports of injuries.
f you own one of the affected models, stop using it and contact your local Arctic Cat dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair.
