Texas Senators honor bet with ND Senators

Washington, DC (WDAY TV) - North Dakota senators are eating well tonight on Capitol Hill. Thanks to NDSU's national championship win over Sam Houston State.

    Senators Hoeven and Conrad collected on a wager with Texas Senators today. The Southerners delivered homemade Pecan Pie and Ice cream, and it appears they brought enough to feed the entire staffs of Hoeven and Conrad.

Senators Hoeven and Conrad collected on a wager with Texas Senators today. The Southerners delivered homemade Pecan Pie and Ice cream, and it appears they brought enough to feed the entire staffs of Hoeven and Conrad.

NDSU beat Sam Houston State earlier this month. Had the Bearkats won, the Texas senators would be eating Bison steaks.
