Consultant to assess flood damage to Minot museum
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A consultant will help the Ward County Historical Society assess damage to its museum grounds from last year's Souris River flooding in Minot.
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A consultant will help the Ward County Historical Society assess damage to its museum grounds from last year's Souris River flooding in Minot.
The Minot Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/zaMnUP ) that Lawrence Sommer is based in St. Paul, Minn., and has more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit management and historic preservation. He's to arrive in Minot on Feb. 8.
Officials have estimated that flood damage to the historical society on the North Dakota State Fairgrounds will total more than $1 million.
