Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- A shock to employees of a popular Grand Forks restaurant suddenly laid off. Denny's closed after only 4 years.

A sign says closed for maintenance, but our cameras captured crews hauling equipment and supplies from the building to moving trucks.
A worker who declined an interview tells us he was told this afternoon the store was closing indefinitely. He says the district manager said the lease is up and everything must be gone by Tuesday.
