Body of Missing Person, ATV Found in Minnesota Lake

PAYNESVILLE, Minn. (AP) — Stearns County authorities have recovered the body of a missing person and an all-terrain vehicle from open water in Rice Lake.

The identity of the victim hasn't been released.

Sheriff John Sanner says his department was notified Friday afternoon that a resident of the Rice Lake area was missing. The person had last been seen a day earlier riding an ATV.

A St. Cloud Times report (http://on.sctimes.com/Aq2arC ) says the body was found later Friday on the west side of Rice Lake, about three miles east of Paynesville.
