In the commissioner's race, Duane Magnuson defeated incumbent Ken Evenson by a count of 1,023 to 950. All totals are currently unofficial.

We are just outside of city hall where the votes are being counted. There are no numbers available yet as the entire city waits patiently to find out who will lead them for the next two and a half years.

These ladies have been sifting through about 2-thousand votes that were cast this afternoon. Even the absentee ballots couldn't be counted until the polls closed at 7.

Chief Dean Ross is having a small get together of family and friends at the Eagle's Club. Many are donning these shirts in support of the former police chief.

This all began last February when Ross received an Oral Reprimand from the mayor for his outspoken actions at a meeting. Now, after nearly a year, Ross is ready for this to all be over.
