Area snow removal crews back to work after slow season

It did not take long for our brown winter to turn white. For the many people who make a living from removing snow, it has been a busy 24 hours.
After a snowless November and December, comes a dose of reality mid-January. Terry Anderson of West Fargo finally was able to get his pickup and blade out to remove snow.
Terry Anderson – Removed Snow Today: “If we are going to get it, we are going to get it.”
He and dozens of companies worked after midnight to clear lots and sidewalks of the newly fallen snow.
Terry Anderson: “I liked the brown Christmas.”
After weeks of dodging the blizzard bullet, we finally got a brush with winter - without the storm.
