UND ski trails remain closed
Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- Outdoor enthusiasts are frustrated after Grand Forks dodged this latest snow. The cross ski trails at UND have not yet opened. At least six inches of snow is needed for grooming. Now, there's not even two.

Courtney Mastain with the UND Wellness Center says, "they're pretty disappointed. They see that there is snow but they don't understand that we can't groom the trails yet because we don't have enough like snow to get the treads down."
Grand Forks has had 8 inches of snow this winter. The average, 27.
