ND gas prices dropped slightly last week

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Average gasoline prices fell slightly in North Dakota last week, even as the national average went up.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Average gasoline prices fell slightly in North Dakota last week, even as the national average went up.

The website NorthDakotaGasPrices.com says the average retail price for a gallon of gasoline in North Dakota was $3.22 on Sunday. The website says North Dakota's average price fell half a penny per gallon.

At the same time the national average price for a gallon of gas was $3.34. The website says that's an increase of 1.1 cents per gallon in the past week.

North Dakota gas prices now are about 9 cents a gallon higher than they were a year ago. Nationally, gas prices have gone up an average of 27 cents a gallon in the past year.
