Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- Children in Moorhead didn't go to church to learn about faith or bible teachings, Instead they did science experiments.
Trinity Lutheran got grant money to pay for this new science program. It teamed with Concordia College. The school provided students and science faculty to help with experiments.
Kids made slime, looked at X-rays of fish and animals, and viewed slides through a microscope.
Dr. Graeme Wyllie at Concordia College says, "my hopes for today would be that the kids are able to maybe when they start to read some of this material in school that they will suddenly think back and say wow we did that some where else at one of these others events, isn't that cool."
Many of those kids are from elementary schools and church groups.
