Bismarck-Mandan residents are warned for possible flooding

Bismarck, ND (WDAY TV) -- People in Bismarck Mandan are being warned to prepare for possible flooding because of ice jams.

This after a drastic rise in the Missouri River. The gauge shows a nearly seven foot jump to 11 feet the past couple days. Flood stage is 16.

Emergency leaders are monitoring the rise. Ice has been collecting in a channel near the University of Mary the past three days. Water is still flowing.
