Trial date set for truck driver accused of causing crash during blizzard

Casselton, ND (WDAY TV) - A trial date is set for a truck driver accused of causing a crash that lead to the death of another truck driver during a blizzard last winter.

Casselton, ND (WDAY TV) - A trial date is set for a truck driver accused of causing a crash that lead to the death of another truck driver during a blizzard last winter.

28-year-old Nenad Sibinovic is charged with reckless driving, accused of going too fast on icy roads during white-out conditions, causing his empty semi to jack-knife.

50-year-old Lowell Balk from Walcott died in the 100 car pile-up that followed when he got out of his own truck to help others. Sibinovic's trial is scheduled for February 22nd.
