Victim of strong-arm robbery attempt in downtown Fargo gets away
North Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The victim of a strong armed robbery was able to escape his three assailants last night.

The incident happened at about 10 last night in the 400 block of 3rd street North.
Fargo Police say the three men approached the man and started assaulting him before he escaped the beating and fled, leaving his jacket behind.
The victim escaped with only minor injuries and was treated by an ambulance crew on scene.
Joel Vettel of the Fargo Police Dept. says, “We rarely see these type of encounters where you have multiple individuals approaching one individual demanding cash.”
