Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Almost a dozen vehicles are damaged in an overnight vandalism spree in South Fargo. The suspects drove around for blocks, shooting out car windows.

A witness's girlfriend says her boyfriend was standing outside when he saw a silver four door car drive past here, turn around in parking lot, and proceed to shoot at four cars before pulling off.

The apartment manager of the witness says the witness rushed upstairs shortly after eight and asked her to call police.

Dee Johnson – Apartment Manager: "They had heard some popping noises and they just heard some pop pop pop across the way and the windows shattered. Even one of the guys in the building hit the ground because it was gunfire."

Police say the suspects used a BB or pellet gun to shatter car windows of at least 11 cars near South Fargo's Prairiewood neighborhood, an area Johnson calls safe.

Johnson: "I think it was just a bunch of kids play, but still I dont think they realize how dangerous it is. This is a really nice neighborhood. People at night walk their dogs."

Fargo Police are still searching for young suspects, reaching out to school's resource officers. If you have any information, you are asked to call police.
